Our Repossession Agents are equipped with all of the tools that
they need to be successful. United offers Agent training, a fleet of
state of the art trucks, and the latest technological tools that
have been custom designed to assist our Agents in maximizing their
earning potential and performance.
Our newly hired Repossession Agents will experience intensive
training at our corporate headquarters in Memphis, TN (travel,
meals, and accommodation are covered by United). During the five day
training, you will meet with internal operations that will serve as
your support while in the field. You will experience hands on
training in a classroom environment and in the field. In the
classroom, you will get a better understanding of this position and
the tools you will use to succeed. In the field, you will run routes
with our Field Operations Manager - seeing first hand the role of a
Repossession Agent.
Summary:
Working independently and driving a company-owned tow truck,
this position is responsible for the recovery of collateral that is
due for repossession, including all types of motorized vehicles.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Check addresses
-
Verify customer and vehicle information provided by the client
and our corporate office

Directly interact with contacts

Recover collateral by following established standards for
safety, compliance and operating procedures

Minimize risk through proper operation of equipment

Minimize liability by obeying all pertinent laws and company policies
-
Provide timely updates to clients according to policies and guidelines
-
Provide timely and accurate condition reports for repossessed collateral
-
Responsibly use and maintain company-issued equipment,
including computer and fuel car

Operate in-cab computers safely and efficiently

Attend periodic required training, including compliance,
safety, and Certified Asset Recovery Specialist certification training

** What you need:
-Be 23 years of age or older with a clean driving record to be
approved by our insurance.
-The ability to pass a DOT Physical.
